TotalTrac - Asset Management Your Way
TotalTrac is an online asset management system that allows you to track anything
from automobiles to zebras. The main goal behind TotalTrac was to create a flexible
framework that was capable of tracking anything. The framework has a several built-in

The rest is open to you requirements and imagination. If the basic asset types are not sufficient
for your needs, TotalTrac can be customized based on your paramaters. As an example,
LENOWISCO needed a way to track their
fiber network that stretches across South West Virginia. TotalTrac was customized to track
all their fiber hardware, as well as the fiber network itself. Now, from a simple web interface
any of the technicians, managers or other employees can login and manage the assets in the
network. If a router goes down, 2 mouse clicks creates a trouble ticket that is routed to a
technician. During the repair and after completion, the ticket creator is kept abreast of the
status via email updates. At the months end when the auditor runs a report, he/she will see
the replaced hardware, as well as all other activity.
